Friday PhotoEssay

Well, the end of another week has arrived. Only one more week until Tomato Day! Then we can just let the garden die. Just kidding! We have plans to keep most of it going until the bitter end – or at least until we get a hard freeze this fall!

White fuzzy caterpillarI found this cute, fuzzy, white caterpillar munching on the carrot tops. I’m not sure what kind of critter he is. Probably some type of moth.

White Caterpillar on BeetsHis brother was visiting the Bull’s Blood Beets.

Cream SausageThe first Cream Sausage tomato is ripe! Doesn’t it have a cool point in the end?

Bell PeppersThe Early Sunsation Bell peppers aren’t turning yellow yet, but they are definitely getting bigger.

Happy Swiss ChardThe Swiss Chard is apparently enjoying the weather. It is growing like crazy!

Baby SquashOne of our Winter squashes is putting on some flower buds, despite the evil squash vine borers attacking!

Have a great weekend!
