Lunch in the Garden
Apparently I’ve been delinquent about actually mentioning my upcoming “Lunch in the Garden” series on the blog. I added a page about it a couple weeks ago, but I kept putting of actually saying anything about it. To see the regular details and the schedule, you can visit the “Lunch in the Garden” page above the header.
Here’s the pertinent details:
When: Every Friday, June 4th-September 10th, 12:15-12:45 pm
Where: Sedgwick County Extension Center @ 21st St. N & Ridge Rd, in the Demonstration Garden (or in the Ingle Room if it’s raining cats & dogs or if it’s 110 degrees)
What: Bring your lunch to eat with us in the garden. We’ll share tips about using fresh garden produce and herbs in simple recipes you can try at home. We’ll also have a short tour of the garden so you can see what we’re up to!
Who: You! Or anyone else that wants to come.
If you can’t make it on any given Friday, you can visit the “Lunch in the Garden” page, where I will do my best to post links to the recipes from each week.
This week we are featuring Lemon Balm, and I think next week will be Napa Cabbage (Chinese Cabbage).
