Family of 4 Harvest Report

Another fairly small harvest this week – one roma tomato and a handful of peppers. The weather continues to put the kibosh on any meaningful tomato harvests, but I’m hopeful that the late-planted okra and cantaloupe will pick up the slack yet this summer.

This Week’s Harvest:

1 red bell peppers @ $1.25/each = $1.25

2 oz. roma tomato @ $2.00/lb = $0.25

2 oz. hot peppers (cayennes) @ $2.50/lb = $0.31

Weekly Total = $1.81

Year to Date = $166.45

At this rate, we’re going to struggle to break $200!
