Family of 4 Garden Harvest Report

We’re kind of “in between” on the Family of 4 Garden for the time being. The spring lettuces and radishes are almost done, the beets and  carrots aren’t quite big enough to harvest yet, and the tomatoes, peppers, etc are just beginning to set fruit.

Last week we didn’t harvest anything, and this week we harvested about 1/4 pound of lettuce and 1 bunch of Swiss Chard. In case you’re keeping track:

1/4 lb lettuce @ $7/lb = $1.75

1 bunch Swiss Chard @ $2.99/bunch = $2.99

Weekly Total = $4.74

Yearly Total = $87.87
