Friday PhotoEssay

There aren’t a lot of great garden pictures this week…unless you like pictures of mud and rain!

Rain Garden?

The garden is looking soggy this morning as it rains yet again!

Wet peasI hope the peas don’t float away!

Family of 4 SaladThe salad vegetables in the Family of 4 Garden have been growing quickly despite the rain.

Wet SpinachMmm…freshly “washed” spinach!

Flowering AlliumsThe ornamental flowering allium is looking great for Herb Day!

Don’t forget to come to Herb Day, tomorrow, Saturday, May 2nd at the Sedgwick County Extension Office. Most of the events will be inside, so don’t let the rain keep you away! 7 a.m. – 2 p.m.
