On Monday I promised a list of the tomatoes, peppers, and eggplant that we will be planting out in the demonstration garden this summer. Here is the list, along with the percentage of germination as of today. I also have made an effort to link the variety names to a seed source that gives more information about the variety. (Please be aware that I selected the source that gives the most information about the plants. It is not to be considered an unequivocal recommendation, nor are these companies the only source for the seed.)

Eggplant
So that’s where we’re at. The peppers are showing a slightly lower germination percentage, and that is pretty typical of what I’ve experienced in the past. I’m still hopeful that a few more seeds will germinate though, especially the jalapenos. Since the Early Jalapeno seeds are old, it can take longer to get a good germination on the seeds.
